The Bite Charters 26°14′16″N  80°07′29″W

Boca Raton, Florida

The Atlantic is
your back yard.
Fish it that way.

Most of our Boca regulars are not on vacation. They are booking a Saturday, taking clients out, or getting a kid onto a first sailfish. The dock is a short run south — and Captain Scott will know your name by the second trip.

This is the shape of a normal year, not a promise. Water temperature and bait movement shift things every season — call (954) 648-7042 and ask what has actually been coming over the rail this week.

Local knowledge

The same water, read properly

Anyone can put a boat over deep water off this coast. What decides whether you catch anything is knowing where fish were holding last Tuesday, which way the current has swung since, and which stretch of reef edge is worth burning an hour on today. That knowledge is not in a book. It comes from fishing the same twenty miles of coastline for thirty-five years.

That is the real argument for booking a local boat rather than whatever is available. Captain Scott is not guessing at where to start. And because most Boca customers come back, he learns what you actually want out of a day — whether that is putting numbers in the box, chasing one good sailfish, or keeping a twelve-year-old busy enough to stay interested.

More about Captain Scott Hall, or see every trip length and rate on the charters page. Fishing from further south instead? We also run Fort Lauderdale charters, and trips from our home port in Pompano Beach.

Common questions

Boca Raton charter FAQ

How far is the dock from Boca Raton?

We are at 2880 NE 19th St in Pompano Beach, a short drive south of Boca down Federal Highway or A1A. Most Boca customers are at the boat inside twenty minutes, and there is parking at the marina.

Can I book the same date every month?

Yes. A number of our Boca customers fish on a standing schedule — the same weekend each month, or the same week each season. Call and we will hold the dates rather than making you rebook every time.

Can I bring my own rods and tackle?

Absolutely. Everything you need is already aboard and included, but if you would rather fish your own gear you are welcome to bring it.

Are your trips good for kids or first-time anglers?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Captain Scott will scale the day to who is aboard — shorter runs, easier conditions and more action for younger anglers rather than a long grind offshore.

Can I take clients out on a corporate charter?

Yes. The Bite is a private charter for your group of up to 6 — you are never sharing the boat with strangers, which is what makes it work for taking clients or a small team out.

What does a charter cost?

A half day trip is $700 and a 3/4 day trip is $850 for up to 6 passengers. Fishing licenses, bait, tackle, ice and a cooler are all included.
